Chips were not fully cooked and the fish could have been fresher. Slightly tough. A person was allowed to order about 15 lots of fish and chips in front causing massive queue and probable drop in quality.
Eat in or takeaway, this place is a must. Whether your local or a visitor from near or far. This has got to be in the top 3 places to eat. From friendly staff, to good descent price!! This place shouldn't be missed
I ordered the breaded haddock, and was given a choice of 'small' or 'large'. I asked if there was a medium, but was told no.When the meal arrived, I realised why: Two 'small' haddock ('large' in any other chipshops' book) balanced precariously on a monster pile of chunky chips.Great value for money, and one of the best I've tasted!
Bought take away fish suppers - excellent as usual.
