Nice lattes and nice building
Went to see a live music event at the Mareel situated close to the town centre of Lerwick. I had a front row seat to see Kris Kristofferson one night (yeah I know amazing right?). He was a legend and the audience was great. The audiences in Shetland are very cultural and they have great taste.The Mareel has a coffee shop with light snacks and alcoholic beverages. It's Shetland Islands Centre for film and media. Lots of students hanging about and lots of locals to keep you chatting. I was invited to an industry gathering there too, the Mareel hosts a few gatherings during the month. Please check their website. There is a cinema there too but it is not your average cinema. It facilitates industry driven projects and you can definately consider them a Local Hub. Please like my review if it has helped you.
Mareel has great staff, great food and movies what more can you ask for.

Well... I was just staying at Shetland for a few hours and dropped by here to get a coffee and the stuff was more than useful, they indicated me the best touristic locations so I had the chance to LOVE this islands. :)
