My adult Son and I took the trip of a lifetime and that included visiting the Shetland Islands. We stayed at the guest house for three nights while we roamed the islands with our rental car. (Rental car recommended to really see the sights!). Our visit at Glen Orchy was delightful. Though we weren't around much, we had breakfast in the morning and dragged ourselves in late at night to the most comfortable beds. The staff is wonderful. The proprietor is very nice and Diane, the assistant staff manager is just plain delightful with a wonderful welcoming smile and a great sense of humor. I really hated to leave both the islands and the fine company of Diane. She made an extra trip to the parking spot to say one more goodbye to us. I highly recommend!Oh, the room was a bit on the warm side, but was taken care of when we mentioned it. In the meantime, we just opened the windows.
