Stayed here a few times. Lovely restaurant friendly staff. Great location for ferry and not too far walk in to town. Good bus service passed the front door. Don't let the Communist office block facade put you off...take a look inside.

Great restaurant although the bedroom is a bit dated
Old fashioned, dark and out dated decor throughout the corridors....Mould and mildew around the tiles in the bathroom and the bath could have done with a clean!!!!Bed was springy, but comfortable with soft clean sheets and blankets...Quaint little toiletries provided in the room, also great tea/coffee making facilities in the room...Friendly staff and excellent food!Not great if you have heavy bags or pushchairs though as there are stairs to get to many of the floors, the staff are more than happy to help... But then you may feel bad to see a slightly built young girl come along and struggle with getting your cases up the stairs too!!!!
Ideally situated for the ferry, the hotel was very comfortable and the staff friendly and helpful, especially in the restaurant. About a 20 minute walk into Lerwick centre. Not ultra modern and perhaps could do with a little upgrading, but we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
