Wow, what wonderful luxury accommodations in central Lerwick, right in the heart of Shetland. The owners are incredibly friendly and accessible, and they've thought of everything! You can't get any closer to Commercial Street and its shops. Parking is available in nearby free lots or *very* close at the pier for paid parking. The flat is so spacious, with a wonderful kitchen, dining and living area all separate from each other. Our group of 8 had plenty of private spaces to enjoy a cup of tea or a full meal prepared in the kitchen. Oh, and the wonderful water pressure in the showers! If you're thinking of booking The Bakers, do not hesitate. You will love your comfortable stay! We certainly did. In fact, it's the best flat we've ever rented! I can't imagine staying anywhere else in Shetland...
Just spent a fabulous week at the Bakers apartment in the heart of Lerwick. This is a hidden gem in one of Lerwick's historic lanes, within a minute's walk of the market cross and tourist information office. The spacious, luxurious apartment is steeped in history with a modern feel to it. Stylishly decorated and furnished throughout with great attention to detail and lots of special touches. There's a fully equipped, top quality, kitchen and the stunning conservatory dining room was ideal for sunny breakfasts. It was perfect for our family group. Raewyn and Leslie were just a stone's throw away and on hand should any need arise. Everything about the Bakers was fabulous and if the opportunity arises we'll certainly be back there. Thanks for a memorable family holiday.
